Here are a few quick bios for the heart and soul of what makes us great:

A Note on Apple Certification: Everyone on this list is, at the very minimum, either ACHDS or ACDT certified. Updates and advanced certifications are always in progress, plus we are in the field and online, adding to our knowledge base what you can't get from a book. Without exception, we are creative people and you can assume that everyone below has signed a major record deal, produced, directed and acted in their own film, or completed advanced degrees in art. Plus a lot more, which helps because our client base is made up of creatives. We speak your language.

Geof Bowie ACHDS NYC/DFW
Geof started Think Fixed about 100 years ago in his basement (well, 1999 from his job as a mac tech in downtown Brooklyn). A mac user since 1984, his only natural skill is problem solving, which is good because, did you ever use the mac before OS X came out? Good thing great design is worth something. Since then he has learned that treating computers like people is a good idea but that treating people like computers is patently bad.

Geof is currently living in Texas, providing Macintosh support to the growing Dallas/Ft. Worth area while providing phone and web support for his clients in New York. Good thing he likes margaritas and enchiladas. He does NOT drive an SUV.

Rachel Beane ACHDS — New York City
With 10 years experience fixing hardware and software problems, Rachel is a potent addition to our small family. When she is not on site tackling the mysteries of your non-functioning computers, she can be found in her studio welding large sculpture or creating installations. She currently resides in NYC where she has recently completed and MFA in Sculpture from Pratt University.

Chris Ferry ACHDS — New York City
Chris Ferry learned to the love the Mac at Dartmouth College in the early 1990's. He has worked with Macs since then in a variety of capacities—sales, service, repair, consulting, software testing, web design, and video editing—in California and New York. Otherwise, Chris is an actor and produces independent films. He hails originally from West Virginia.

Xavier Smith ACDT — New York City
Apple Certified with over a decade of professional experience, Xavier has been using Macs since the age of 10. Knew from a very young age he was either going to be computer tech or Miss America. Live the dream.

Matthew Gordon ACHDS — Dallas / Fort Worth
Matthew may actually be a droid, or maybe a Vulcan, we arent sure. His ability to understand the root of a problem and then strategize and solve is downright spooky. Although we are fairly certain hes human, the confidence and professionalism he delivers pushes us ever further toward perfection.

Kendra Bowie — Dallas / Fort Worth
Kendra is the glue, the brain and the traffic cop that makes all things at Think Fixed operate smoothly. Without her the ship would sink. If you need anything at all, she is your first and best stop toward a zen like experience.

Joe Louthan
A self-proclaimed Reformed Geek. You know the kind: the guy with a deep, dark very geeky past who has now shed all geek habits and yet could hold his own in the geekiest of conversations like vim versus emacs, constructing oil-cooled computer systems or the raiding capabilities of the 40/0/21 specced Shaman.

While he cannot escape that tragic past, he does bring 12 years of experience in making Mac, Linux and (gasp! even) Windows systems sing together harmoniously. Prefers to do everything command-line versus the torture and pain of dragging a mouse across the screen. Thinks his cooking is better than most restaurants. Runs on Monster Energy Drinks and Doppio Macchiatos. Dad of one.
